During my childhood and until I was 20, I lived on the family estate belonging to my mother's side. There, for many years, my grandfather and his family worked at the local quarry and on the vineyard located above our house in the mountains. He would always visit us with baskets of fruit and vegetables, with a cigarette between his lips.

When my grandfather passed away, my uncle Jaume took over the vegetable garden and the vineyard. One day, he came to our house and surprised us with a bottle of wine he had made himself, using grapes from the vineyard of the small farm. He called it "Silvi" in honour of his wife, Silvia.

Eagerly, I set about designing the label for the Xarel·lo wine, incorporating rustic elements and textures like screen printing and vintage illustrations, with a contemporary touch of electric blue. In the centre of the label, I placed an image of a dog running through the mountains, reminiscent of the walks we used to take with our dogs in the area – something that always reminded me of home. Surrounding the image and below the wine’s name, small dots frame the design, symbolising the grapes used to make the wine.

It always makes me happy to return there on weekends for a visit, go for a walk, listen to the birds, and spend time with my family. This wine is as strong as our family, and although there are only a few bottles, we know they will be shared in good company.
