EXP:01/2020 is a serie of 4 static visuals based on the conceptual interpretation of the documentary «Surviving Progress» (2011). The design consists on the digital exploitation of the limits of 3 different images that originally portray the bark of a tree.
The message they visually convey is how our environment is rapidly changing from the most pure and beautiful nature to inhumane digitization due to a massive and unsustainable exploitation of our planet's resources. These images aim to be a warning call of how we’re getting lost on the idea of progress and of how we can end up on a dystopia were our planet becomes an unrecognizable and a glitchy idea of what it once was.
